An integral part of the museum will be a performance and work platform for media, computer and network art, which will be known as the “media platform at kunsthaus graz”.
We, Richard Kriesche and Josef Gruendler, have been given responsibility for designing, planning and running this platform.

Alongside a presentation of the local media art scene, we are planning, with the help of a select group of international media art institutions, to mount an exhibition of current trends, ideas and strategies and to display a selection of diverse and in particular forward-looking production and communications structures.

We want to use this to position the media platform as a new media focal point on the international scene and launch it as a global partner for co-operation in the media arts network.
